The purpose of the Into Integrity FAST is
to call attention to--and confront--the lack of disclosures by specific
organizations/leaders/people affected by the international Nordic Capital
Investment KB fraud (NCI) as well as the related, wrongful dismissals directed
at Kelly and Michele. Join with us in FAsting for genuine
contrition and STriking for resolute action within the Church
Mission Community (CMC).
Integrity is moral
wholeness—living consistently in moral wholeness. Corruption is
moral rottenness, the opposite of integrity--the distortion, perversion, and
deterioration of moral goodness, resulting in the exploitation of people.
Part One (6-26 June 2019): Supportive Comments
--Thank you for all the podcasts.
Thank you for your courage in standing for the truth….May God bless and
honour you…The authoritarian style of leadership seems to
be a serious problem in many Christian organizations and churches. When
problems are covered over and no questions allowed, accountability rests with
other leaders who may be complicit in the problem. Boards seem to lack the
courage to do what is right. No wonder trust in leadership is so eroded and
gifted staff walk away. My condolences to you both. May God grant you special grace.
--Well done in this fast. May the
Lord help and strengthen you.
--Thank you for all the podcasts.
Thank you for your courage in standing for the truth. The verse you quote
yesterday - Zechariah 8:16,19 - is so appropriate. “These are the things
you are to do: Speak the truth to each other and render true and sound
judgment in your courts; do not plot evil against each other, and do not
love to swear falsely. I hate all this,” declares the Lord…
“Therefore love truth and peace.” May God bless and honour your
commitment to stand and may He answer our prayers. And now may you be
blessed and protected in recovery. Many blessings and much love to you.
--Praying for you,
Kelly and Michele as you undergo this fast and hunger strike. Praying that the
Lord will be moved to use it powerfully. Praying for peace and for a
greater perception of the LORD and His ways.
--We have
accompanied you in this situation and really pray that the Lord will bring
healing and restoration.
--I’m thinking and continuing to
pray with you in your fast and your call to action. I wanted to share
something the Lord has put on my heart, I wrote it today…There are times when
we need to take a stand. It may not be pleasant. It may even get
nasty. You may be a recipient of malice or labeled a trouble maker.
Yet with humility and prayerful action your stand will mean more in the
end. The reward to faithfulness is more work, more influence, and greater
faith in the Holy One, Matthew 25: 14-30. I hope this is an encouragement
to you.
--Thanks for what you are doing in
standing for integrity….Thank you for your tenacity on behalf of righteousness.
Praying the Lord encourages and strengthens you during this time
--Courage on your path - this is a
brave undertaking for a noble cause. Love and light,
--I believe that this is making a
significant difference in attention to the matter of moral integrity over moral
bankruptcy. I believe this approach is making deeper inroads than before,
both from your end of fasting/striking and the truth that I have not missed a
single podcast. I marinade in them. You are not just speaking to
the choir but tympanically resonating and drawing out precisely what my soul
yearns most for. It is in direct harmony with yours, my
friend. Keep this up. May the Lord rejoice in speaking your
name among the saints that have gone before us.
--Thanks
for what you are doing in standing for integrity. It feels, as you send the
updates, that a breakthrough is coming. Thank you for your tenacity on behalf
of righteousness. Praying the Lord encourages and strengthens you during this
time. That you see with your eyes the correction of injustice. Bless you both.
Part Two (6-26 December 2019): Supportive Comments
--I just want to let you know that I fasted and
prayed on the topic of into integrity today. You raised an important issue in
our life and ministry. I checked my own issue and other people’s issues in our [national]
context as I prayed throughout the day. Thank you for bringing out the issue
based on your past experience. I understand your experience was bitter, but
that caused you to think deep and wide about the issue. I hope and pray that
God will encourage you all the more shining His healing rays on your life and
ministry (Malachi 4:2). Amen. May God continue to bless you and yours!
--Thank you for this update! I read through your
transcript of the podcast and appreciate your deep and specific prayer
tremendously. I will be joining in prayer from my home. Let's take full
advantage of the digital world that allows us to connect and support each
other, even if from afar! Grace and peace,
--Truly remedial, redemptive, relational podcast series. Each one of them caused me deep reflections for which I'm exceptionally grateful to listen to.You are both in my thoughts and continued prayers. Wanting that the joy of the Lord shine brightly in every direction that you look….My love and prayers continue in the duration of this fast and cry out to God for justice and a clear path for all Christians to greater freedom and victory for you, the others that lost so much, and those that succumbed to it all….Have a very merry celebratory time of our Lord's birth with joyful entry into this new year.Peace and Grace in this eleventh-hour, my friends.
--Thanks, Fasting periodically to stand with you....
--Thanks, Fasting periodically to stand with you....
--Praise God for you both as you stand for
integrity in the Christian world. I have lived upholding this value in life and
ministry. God Bless. Praying.
--I pray that God gives you grace and strength
and you continue to speak boldly on the issues facing the local and global
church, and the wider community of humanity of which we are all apart. While I
don’t always have time to immediately read your emails, blog posts and notices,
I always keep them and come back to them later. It is an encouragement to me to
be reminded of the larger issues which face us. Thank you for your
steadfastness and faithfulness. ad majorem Dei gloriam
--Thank you so much for your podcasts and for
pursuing fraud in missions organizations. I think you are doing a
wonderful work by not letting go of this! Thank you.
--Thank you very much for your perseverance. May
the Lord move the people in YWAM etc. to action and make us all walk in integrity.
With warm greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
--People prayed for you in community group
tonight. Love you so much and so proud of all you are doing and standing for.
We talked about persecution and during prayer time at the end I brought this up
as a different facet of persecution that is maybe not often thought about or
even considered din these terms, but experienced in the first world and with
the enemy attacking from within. More people will be praying through this
week.
--I am standing with Kelly O’Donnell and Michele
O’Donnell. Through fasting and praying to confront and resist the spiritual
forces that lead to corruption and abuses that get covered up, particularly in
Church and Mission Communities, and specifically the lack of accountability and
cover up that occurred by YWAM in the Nordic Capital Investment KB Fraud. As
Christ followers we must stand for integrity and truth being brought out of
dark corners- walls not just whitewashed, cups not only clean on the
outside. It takes incredible courage and trust in God to expose fraud, abuse,
corruption, injustice and unrighteousness into the light and I stand with Kelly
and Michele in their perseverance through years of integrity and love, calling
out the truth and peacefully calling for real reconciliation which must begin
with an acknowledgment of these unjust actions and abuses.
Continue in courage and faith
and peace, to address and call these sins into the light so that God can fully
heal our community. We love you and appreciate your deep commitment to
confronting injustice and sin/ evil - and living with integrity with a heart to
see relationships healed, restored and reconciled. I'll be committing to doing
a part of the water fast with you.
