The prayers and the calls for integrity and action continue during this Interim period, 

even as they have over the last 12 years.

In this Update we feature a special tool for “increased accountability and better governance" to support organizational health and integrity: Complaint Mechanisms for Non-Governmental Organizations (2017). This is a practical tool, developed with input from several organizations (primarily Christian organizations). The Executive Summary is especially helpful as it is designed to be used as a checklist for organizations to review and develop their "complaint mechanisms."

"A complaint mechanism (CM) is a formalized mechanism to give victims and witnesses of misconduct by an organization a chance to report cases, and for organizations to deal with these complaints in a structured manner. Complaints are an expression of dissatisfaction or discontent about misconduct. A CM can receive both operational complaints (e.g. about programs, quality of work, donor registration, project participant selection) and serious complaints (corruption, nepotism, misuse of funds, physical/psychological/sexual abuse)" (page 4).

Join Together--FAST Together!
We want to invite you to join together with us and others during Part Two of the Into Integrity FAST. The dates are 6-26 December 2019. Note also that the United Nations International Anti-Corruption Day is 9 December.

We encourage you to do a fast/strike (FAST) for one or more of the 20 days with us. Focus on an area of integrity that is important for you as well as on the specific NCI fraud and dismissals that continue to be publicly challenged via the Into Integrity FAST.

The purpose of the Into Integrity FAST is to call attention to--and confront--the lack of disclosures by specific organizations/leaders/people affected by the international Nordic Capital Investment KB fraud (NCI) as well as the related, wrongful dismissals directed at Kelly and Michele. It is a 40 day combined food FAst and huger STrike. Part One of the FAST (6-26 June 2019, 20 days) was done by Kelly. For Part Two of the FAST (6-26 December 2019, 20 days,) others are encouraged to join together in order to FAST publicly for privately for one or more days.

Integrity is moral wholeness—living consistently in moral wholeness. Corruption is moral rottenness, the opposite of integrity--the distortion, perversion, and deterioration of moral goodness, resulting in the exploitation of people.
